Books to Musicals

There are a lot of children’s books that have been transformed into plays and musicals. Several of these are currently being performed in NYC or other local venues. “Angelina Ballerina,” “Pinkalicious,” “Fancy Nancy,” “The Lonely Phonebooth,” “Knuffle Bunny,” “Berenstain Bears,” “Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” and “The Terrible Plop,” are just a few I can name (and that I saw). Of course, live productions (smaller venues) aren’t as popular as when a book is made into a movie (example: “The Polar Express”), but maybe we can put together a mini-poster of some that are currently available attached with information about when/where, etc..
