escape fromWhat better title to promote to kids during the summer reading program but one that is set in a library? In this 2013 children’s book, a famous gamemaker by the name of Luigi Lemoncello has donated 500 million dollars to build a new top of the line library in Alexandriaville, Ohio. He has selected 12 twelve year olds who have written the best essays about their excitement over the new library to take part in a library lock-in. The challenge begins after they are locked in: the first child to find the secret route of escape out of the library will  become famous by being featured in Mr. Lemoncello’s TV ads for his games. The twelve must solve a series of puzzles in order to find the secret exit. Who will be the winner? This is a great read for bibliophiles and contains many book titles in Mr. Lemoncello’s dialogue to pique a child’s interest.
