Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton make a wonderful, married couple.  They have been together for more than forty years and have lived in the same Brooklyn apartment for the same amount of time.  The apartment is on the fifth floor, and even though it affords great light and views of the area, Freeman’s character is a painter, climbing five flights of stairs has become a problem.

“5 Flights Up” is a love story of a couple who has grown old together.  Faced with the problem of either staying in an area they love or moving to a building with an elevator results in some humorous and heartwarming situations.  Cynthia Nixon plays their frenetic real estate agent who advises them on how to successfully market their apartment. The scenes involving possible buyers introduce a whole range of quirky characters.  0025192294778_p0_v2_s118x184
