National Novel Writing Month

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), an annual challenge founded in 1999 during which writers from around the world commit to writing a 50,000-word novel between November 1 and November 30. This year, the Palisades Free Library is here to help with an online guide full of library resources, useful links, and more to help you get inspired, stay motivated, and see your way to a finished product. On Monday, November 30th from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm the library will provide a place to write, word trackers, and a fuel in the form of coffee and snacks during NaNoWriMo: Sprint to the Finish. Participants are welcome to register ahead of time in the library, by phone, or online or drop in at any time during the event. Happy Writing!
