In honor of National Library Week I thought I’d post this hilarious video that I found (it’s from last year but it’s still relevant). Besides the fact that the video highlights the positives of using your local Library (such as saving money!), it reminded me of this year’s theme, “Libraries Transform”. I think that it is important to think of our libraries as not just a boring and quiet place with old books, but as a center of culture. The library can be a resource for so many different things.  You can “transform” your local library by participating in and helping to put on events/programs that interest YOU.
