Readers have accepted the fact that popular adult authors often crossover to young adult fiction.  According to Megan Tingley, the executive vice president and publisher of Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, “Every year there are adult writers and celebrities who choose to write” for young audiences, but recently there is a “particularly high-caliber” group doing so.

Other adult authors who have found success writing for juvenile audiences are B.J. Novak, “The Book With No Pictures.” and Alexie Sherman “Thunder Boy Jr.”
