The Ninja warrior is back in Arree Chung’s second book in his series about the antics of a young Ninja.
Looking for a worthy opponent, Ninja asks each of his family whether they want to play with him. His mom and his sister are too busy. His father says he will play, but is too occupied doing his taxes. Ninja waits for his father to attack, but he never does.
His family realize they have disappointed Ninja so they decide to lay in wait and attack the warrior. Surprise attacks ensue, and he subdues mom and dad, but his sister, sneaky little ninja, gets him in the end.
Chung is a video games designer and art director in addition to be a children’s author. His drawings reflect his background in design. He divides each page into cartoon-like panels with action drawings that show each family member practicing their ninja skills.
