“Mission: Back to School: Top Secret Information” offers young readers a challenge to prepare them to return to school.

Written by Susan Hood and illustrated by Mary Lundquist, the text offers nineteen phases of training for that first day.  From Step #1–Suiting Up, to Step #8 Practice Decoding to the final step, #19, Issue Final Report, the text gives secret agent readers important information that will enable them to successfully carry out their mission: a great first day of school.
