The latest novel by Jane Green centers around a young English woman who decides it is time to hang up her stressful NY banking career and move to the “burbs”. She finds a small beach house for rent in Connecticut, and tries her hand at interior design. She falls for her landlord and his young son, Jesse, and her life seems to be quite a happy one until one day when it takes a sudden downturn. It’s a good beach read, and although summer has ended, Falling is also an easy love story to relax with, and escape into another world for a bit of time.
