This title is the latest in the Agatha Raisin detective series by M.C.Beaton. Agatha is the owner of a private detective agency in the Cotswolds in England, and is on the trail of the person who murdered Lord Bellington. The English lord was the owner of a group of allotments, or small amounts of land given over to tenants to raise vegetables, and was planning to turn over the land to a developer before he died. The list of suspects is quite long, and Agatha, along with her trusty friends and colleagues, must whittle it down to find the murderer. Quite a few characters populate this novel, and it is a bit tough to keep track of everyone, although the bodies do begin to pile up. For a clean and quick mystery, this series will not disappoint.
