An American Libraries online article in the May 1st issue discusses 10 top library tech trends. Number 8 on the list informs the reader about creating stronger passwords by using the roll of some dice. The latest trend is creating passphrases, which are random words developed either by using dice or other suggested methods. The author recommends using a six word passphrase for it to be unbreakable (other than by a large country’s security agency, for example.) Seven words will protect you even further. It sounds a bit complicated, but I may give it a try, just for kicks. You can check out the article here.
