September is Library Card Sign-Up Month and to celebrate the Palisades Free Library is giving you access to even more of what you want…hoopla and Kanopy!
Hoopla allows you to instantly borrow (i.e. no waiting lists!) digital movies, music, eBooks, audiobooks, comics, and TV shows. All you need is your Palisades Free Library card, a web browser, smart phone or tablet to get started with over half a million titles in six different formats. As a Palisades Free Library cardholder, you can now borrow 5 titles per month!
Kanopy allows you to stream 30,000+ films on demand from your computer, television, or mobile device. There’s an amazing selection, including Paramount Pictures Classics, the Criterion Collection, film festival favorites, Academy Award winners and nominees, and so much more! Kanopy Kids is also included, which features a collection geared toward children aged preschool and up, and offers Common Sense Media ratings for all content. As a Palisades Free Library cardholder, you can now stream 5 titles per month!
