The New York Public Library has many resources beyond books. This year, the new Culture Pass is another advantage to having an NYPL library card. The Culture Pass allows free access to more than 30 museums, galleries and gardens all using your NYPL card! “Any person who lives, works or attends school in the state of New York is eligible to receive an NYPL card.” You can apply for your NYPL card online by emailing your driver’s license or other ID to patronaccounts@nypl.org.
They will mail your card to you and you can then get started taking advantage of visiting such places as the New York Botanical Gardens, the American Museum of Natural History, Frick, Intrepid, MOMA, MMA, Whitney, Wave Hill, Guggenheim and many others for free!
