I thought the nature aspect of this book was intriguing – I like how the “Marsh Girl” studied her world both from a scientific point of view as well as an artistic point of view. The love story was more on the sidelines in my opinion. The way the book was formatted with past and future chapters was very effective in keeping the mystery – loved that. The ending was a shocker!
