Our library blog itself is a great resource to use for entertainment or education. To piggyback off one of Kate’s recent posts, I decided to visit the Smithsonian museum. With so many choices on its website, I decided to take a quiz on geography , which is one of my interests. I found it intriguing to test my knowledge, which helped challenge my brain cells. But the National Air and Space Museum is really neat: among its various options is an Emmy-nominated program called STEM in 30, which features 30 minute episodes geared toward middle school students. One in particular is titled Spy Planes: Eyes in the Sky, and allows the viewer to visit the CIA Museum, which is NOT open to the public. Check out one of its spy planes, the A12 Oxcart.
