Doing Good at Home

Being at home may be the perfect time to think big in terms of making a difference in the world. The story of Isabelle and Katherine Adams offers some inspiration. When the teenagers were eight and five, they learned about the impact of unclean water on children around the world and knew they needed to do something about it. Since they loved origami, they decided to make origami Christmas ornaments to exchange for donations to fund water wells. Their efforts were so successful that they started their own organization, Paper for Water, which has helped fund over 200 water projects around the world.
