Illustrator and children’s author, Joan Walsh Anglund, passed away this month at age 95. In 1958 she had her first book published, ‘A Friend is Someone who Likes You’ and eventually wrote and illustrated over 120 more. Her characters have instant recognition and have been used in greeting cards and merchandise.
