Fiona Grace on hoopla

I recently stumbled across a cozy mystery author to listen to on our free library app Hoopla. I’ve listened to 5 titles in the past 2 weeks in two different series of books by Fiona Grace. Each of the series I’ve tried take place in Italy. The main characters are single women from the United States who relocate to Italy after taking a close look at the shortcomings in their lives and decide to take a leap of faith. The ‘Villa in Sicily Cats and Dogs Cozy Mystery’ series stars veterinarian Dr. Audrey Smart from Boston, MA. She is unhappy working at the animal hospital and struggling to pay off her student loans. When she sees an ad on Facebook to purchase a villa in Sicily for one Euro, Audrey decides to throw caution to the wind and take a chance. Once there, she becomes a member of the local village. However, in each book she happens to come across a dead body and a mystery to solve! The ‘Tuscan Vineyard Cozy Mystery’ series stars Olivia Glass who lives in Chicago and works in marketing. She makes the hasty decision to quit her job and move to Tuscany so she can follow her dream of opening a winery. She manages to get a job working at a winery and finds a dead body in the wine cellar. These titles are easy listening and comfort food in the cold days of winter.
