Prince Harry’s memoir is scheduled for release in January 2023. The proceeds will all be donated to charity. The audio edition read by the author will be released the same day. Covering his life from childhood to the present day, the Spare is “…a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

M.L.Longworth has written a mystery series starring Judge Antoine Verlaque and his girlfriend, law professor Marine Bonnet. Together the pair must try and find the killer of a professor of Theology at the local university in Aix, Provence. Several theology professors, two university students, and a secretary are among the suspects for the murder. I found this title entertaining, though the author uses a lot of descriptive text throughout the novel, which makes for slow reading at times. For anyone interested in mysteries, there is another group of awards to check out: the Shamus awards, which are awarded annually by the Private Eye Writers of America. This organization was founded in 1981 by Robert J. Randisi, who also created the Shamus award. A Private Eye, or Private Investigator, is defined as a private citizen who is paid to investigate crimes. The awards are given in several categories: Best PI hardcover, Best Original PI paperback, Best First PI novel, and Best PI Short Story. Other awards include: “The Eye”, which is given to an author for lifetime achievement, and “The Hammer”, awarded to the character, not the author, for his/her contribution to and longevity in the field.
