Our StoryWalk is now up! Take a walk at Tallman Mountain State Park and read a children’s book at the same time. Our StoryWalk® features Gaia Cornwall’s “Jabari Jumps”—a warmhearted story about bravery and trying something new. As you take a short walk, you’ll follow numbered sign posts that display pages of the book. Everyone who finishes the StoryWalk® will have a chance to win a copy of Jabari Jumps.
Park in the parking lot off 9W (across from the Mini Golf and beside the South Picnic Area) and take the Orange Trail to read the book!

He also reminds us that our Summer Reading Program launches today and that curbside pickup is now available from 11 AM – 6 PM on weekdays. Thanks, Buster!

Buster from Therapy Dogs of Rockland is back with a new poem! Shel Silverstein’s “The Crocodile’s Toothache” reminds Buster of a time he went to the dentist because of a sore tooth. It wasn’t his favorite experience, but he did feel a lot better afterwards!
If you’ve been missing Buster, you can now sign up to learn how he became a therapy dog and hear his handler (and former third grade teacher) Candace Robinson read a dog-themed story. Click here to register!
