The popularity of R.J. Palacio’s “Wonder” has inspired sequels, the upcoming 2017 film and now a picture book, “We’re All Wonders” set to be released in 2017. Teachers, parents and students love the story of Auggie and many would like his story to be shared with a younger audience. “We’re All Wonders” is the picture book version of “Wonder” which Palacio also illustrated. Embraced in schools as a vehicle for delivering the message of tolerance, kindness, and anti-bullying, “We’re All Wonders” will allow younger children to be introduced to Auggie until they are ready to read the chapter book. Palacio has training as an illustrator and stays true to her original story of the extraordinary boy. Look for 2017 to be Auggie’s year of Wonder.
